FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS.
WHY ARE THERE NO TOURS CURRENTLY AVAILABLE?
In an effort to more effectively draw attention to the architectural resources in the city, the decision to step back from serving as a tour company was made to allow for the evaluation of other possible educational avenues and preservation efforts as a non-profit organization.
WILL WALKING TOURS BE OFFERED AGAIN?
We expect to offer a walking tour in conjunction with our eventual Modernism Weekend event, however, we do not anticipate weekly walking tours reappearing in the immediate future. We will revisit private tour availability in as circumstances allow.
HOW CAN I DESIGN MY OWN TOUR?
We recommend visiting our Instagram account to select some buildings that you are interested in seeing during your exploration of Albuquerque. Many of our posts include location details. You can also visit our Resources page for more insights. Please be mindful of private property and photography restrictions while exploring the area's architecture.
WILL YOU BE HOSTING ANOTHER HOME TOUR?
Yes, our Events Committee is working to plan another home tour for 2021. To be among the first to receive an announcement about the date and when tickets will be available, please consider signing up for the Modern Albuquerque newsletter.
HOW DO I GET MY HOME ON THE HOME TOUR?
Please send us an email with your name, address, photos of your home's interior, and any details you know about it. We look for homes with interior designs that complement the architecture and feature original details, but not all furnishings or features have to be vintage.
